Who We Are:
The DICK DIET is a collaboration between Chad Turner and Jonathan Anderson. Both of us are passionate about the concept of successful aging, because we both believe that with proper diet and lifestyle we can reject middle age and do more of what we love, better and for longer.
I recall standing around a campfire with Jonathon one evening and I asked him, “Why do you do it? Why do yoga regularly? Why eat healthy, workout and move your body every day?”
He said, “So I can ride my bicycle and snowboard until I am 100 years old”.
“What about you?”, he said.
My answer, “So I can skateboard until I am 100 years old”.
Jonathan’s wife, acupuncturist and wellness advocate Aleisha was there and we asked her as well. She said, “I want to be able to do a cartwheel until I am 100 years old”.
The bottom line is that we all have reasons to take care of our bodies and build daily health and wellness rituals. We are here to tell you that are not that old. It is not too late. If you clean up your diet and lifestyle you can stop stealing from our own opportunity to have the life that you want and deserve.
Yes, and in case you are wondering, Jonathan and I are both men with penises. We hope to have exciting romantic lives and derive pleasure from a variety of sexual experiences well into our senior years.
Meet Jonathan aka Turbo:
Jonathon Anderson aka Turbo aka M’FCEO is the head of business operations for The Dick Diet. He is an accountant, Acupuncturist, entrepreneur, business coach, musician, adventure sports junkie and owner and director of MKE Mind Body Wellness. Jonathon’s close friends call him TURBO because he doesn’t do anything slow or mediocre. He takes on all of life’s challenges, including his entrepreneurial endeavors, with the same speed and intensity of his preferred extreme sports. Turbo brings a unique perspective and skill set to The Dick Diet. He is yin and yang - a lion and a lamb. He has experience working as a Chief Financial Officer in the wolf-of-wall street-cut-throat business sector. He also has experience working as the compassionate director of an inclusive wellness clinic which focuses on patient-centered treatments for behavioral mental health. He is a healer, a world traveler, an adventure sports athlete, an acupuncturist, a husband and a loving father who has raised two healthy children on a whole foods diet. Jonathon believes food is medicine and he is passionate about helping men find the right resources to help them improve their sexual and reproductive health. He wants men to know that it’s never too late to recapture their health and claim the life that they’ve always wanted.
Meet Traveling Chad:
I am an author and adventure sports fanatic. I was originally drawn to the world of herbs and nutritional healing to address my own health challenges. At a young age I was diagnosed with a neurological condition called narcolepsy which affected my control of sleep and wakefulness causing excessive daytime fatigue. Determined to come off of the stimulating medications I was prescribed, I became fascinated with medicinal plants and alternative health and wellness. I began traveling and investigating the traditional knowledge and customs of people all over the world concerning plants and their medical, religious and other uses. This fascination guided me to India to learn about Ayurvedic medicine and to study Yoga. It also steered me to the mountains of China and towards traditional TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine) herbology, and the mind body practices of ancient martial arts. At the moment have traveled to 35 countries exploring regional arts, languages, medicinal plants, mind-body practices and the synergistic way these all play a part in the health and identity of a culture and a region.
