GUACAMOLE!! Quite possibly the ultimate boner food!

Guacamole is one of the ultimate boner foods. It has garlic and onion which are heart healthy and have been proven to regulate cholesterol, lower blood pressure and prevent cell damage. What is good for the heart and arteries is good for a man’s favorite organ. Avocados are an amazing boner food because they are high in vitamin E and Zinc. Zinc increases levels of free testosterone and protects the prostate while vitamin E improves sperm quality. Tomatoes contain lycopene which has been shown to boost sperm quality making tomatoes an excellent fertility food. Lastly, guacamole is almost always prepared with some type of spicy pepper such as jalapeño, habanero or cayenne. Hot peppers are excellent for heart health, preventing diabetes and preventing cancer. Avocados, garlic and onion are also excellent foods for cardiovascular health which makes guacamole a boner superfood!

Ingredients:

3 T finely chopped cilantro

3 avocados, ripe

½ of a small onion (I prefer red onion, but you could use yellow or white as well)

2 roma tomatoes, diced (I like Roma because they are less watery and meatier)

1 medium size jalapeño pepper, seeds removed and finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced or crushed.

½ teaspoon cumin

1 T lime Juice (fresh squeezed if possible)

½ teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

 

·      Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop into a mixing bowl.

·      Mash the avocado with a fork and make it as chunky or as smooth as you’d like it (I like mine chunky!).

·      Add the remaining ingredients and stir together. Give it a taste and test it out! Add a pinch more salt, pepper, cumin or lime juice if needed.

·      Serve the guacamole with tortilla chips.

·      Enjoy!
